Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring insertion and maintenance of peripherally inserted catheters in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. + Insert peripherally placed central venous, central lines, mid-line and peripheral I.V. catheters.Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. + Serve as a resource regarding insertion and maintenance of peripherally inserted catheters, allvascular access device products and procedures. + Evaluate status of interventions and patient goals for the purpose of reassessment, revision of plan of care and discharge planning. + Provide instruction and information to staff, patients and their families regarding use and care ofperipherally inserted catheters, midlines, central lines and peripheral I.V.s. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
