**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **RN Resident** **– Progressive Care Unit (PCU)** Currently offering up to **$8,000** in recruitment bonuses for qualified energetic GN’s who are passionate about nursing. **Details:** Unit 3-4 is a 20-bed step-down unit for Intensive Care Units, our area of focus includes complex medical and post op surgical care with class 1 telemetry monitoring. Specialized training includes CORE EKG classes, ACLS, respiratory support class, and PD. We utilize a _team_ relationship-based care model designed to provide a consistent support system. Cross training with our Intensive Care units, allows for a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge and competency skills while enhancing your area of expertise in support of our Critical Care population. Patient education, goal setting, critical thinking and care planning. + Collaborative team approach: SNAP rounds daily with interdisciplinary team. + Provide Clinical Service standards of care and practice. + Utilizing the Nursing Process, plans, directs and supervises the care of patients in addition to being involved in the provision of direct care of patients and families. **Education, Training, Experience, Certification and Licensure:** + Current Registered Nurse licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of New York with one year of experience. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
