The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN provides services in accordance with District and Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Ohio Registered Nurse license Gastrointestinal Tube experience Wound care experience One year of school nursing experience, preferred Pediatric experience, preferred Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age About the Position: 7:00am-4:00pm Will ride the bus with the student (RN will get OT each week) Student has seizures, g-tube, wheelchair, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, dysphagia Possible wound care and ostomy bag- will have updated doctors orders RNs with hospital experience is preferred Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
