LOCATION:     BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER, MARBLE FALLS TX

SCHEDULE:   NIGHTS PRN

\n

This is a 13 week contract assignment, great hourly pay and completion bonus !

\n

\n

Procedures: Bronchoscopy, Cardioversion, Intubation, Arterial line insertion continuous bladder irrigation chest tube placement, central line placement, thoracentesis and wound care. We will care for septic shock, cardiogenic shock, post-cath, post -IR, DKA, stroke, alcohol withdrawal, general surgery and urology. We do not have cardiothoracic surgery or neurosurgery. We have an 8 bed unit and patient to nurse ration is: RN’s 2:1 for ICU pts and 3:1 for IMC pts and we have patient care technicians.

As a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.

Qualifications

A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experienceA minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursingA valid Registered Nurse licenseThe ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
