St. Anne Hospital in Burien, WA, a leader in compassionate healthcare, seeks a passionate and experienced RN Service Line Educator – Critical Care to join our dedicated team.  This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of critical care by developing and delivering innovative educational programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our exceptional nursing staff.

About the Role:

As a RN Service Line Educator, you will be instrumental in ensuring our critical care team consistently delivers the highest quality patient care.  Your responsibilities will include:

 Needs Assessment & Curriculum Design:  Conducting thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and developing engaging, evidence-based educational programs and materials that meet the needs of our diverse learners.  This includes creating and updating written and multimedia modules, curriculum, and lesson plans. Program Implementation & Evaluation:  Delivering engaging training sessions (classroom and potentially online), evaluating program effectiveness, and making data-driven improvements to ensure optimal learning outcomes.  You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (city, county, state, federal, and The Joint Commission). Collaboration & Consultation:  Working closely with service line leadership, department directors, Unit Based Educators, and medical staff to align educational initiatives with strategic goals and maintain consistent standards across the hospital.  This includes providing clinical specialty information and assisting multiple departments with educational initiatives. Mentorship & Development:  Coordinating and delivering Nurse Residency education within the critical care specialty, and providing specialized knowledge-based education to staff outside the critical care area.Policy & Procedure Development:  Participating in the development, revision, and update of clinical and educational policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Quality Improvement:  Actively participating in performance improvement teams and incorporating quality improvement techniques into your work to continuously enhance our educational offerings.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred. Minimum three years of RN experience in critical care is essential. Proven experience in healthcare provider education/training is highly desirable. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and exceptional teaching/presentation skills. Current Washington State RN license and BLS certification are mandatory. Certification in a critical care nursing specialty or staff development is preferred.
