This is a full time, benefited, 8-hr day shift position with varied start times between 7am-8:30am based on clinic needs. Located in La Jolla at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. You are required to float to other sites as needed, but majority of time will be in Torrey Pines.

This position is roughly 80% administrative (managing messages, phones, etc) 20% face-to-face direct patient care.Conduct significant telephone/patient portal interaction (80%) coordinating care with patients and collaboratingwith providers and their care teams.Educate patients, manage associated paperwork, order entry, prior authorizations, medication refills, assist in procedures and occasional wound care.You will use minimal hands-on nursing skills.Collaboratewith other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7k

Required:
Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN.Current California RN License.BLS from American Heart Association.Requires well developed phone communication skills, ability to assess, reassure, empathize, and give direction over the phone.Requires critical thinking skills around post-operative complications, understanding and identifying patients with abnormal outcomes and managing the care continuum to achieve positive outcomes.Must be able to multi-task and remain calm and professional during busy times.Excellent interpersonal skills.Preferred:
Prior RN experience within a clinic, outpatient and ambulatory setting.Prior Orthopedic Surgery RN work experience.Previous experience with procedures as an RNRequired:
