We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a passionate RN Specialty Coordinator to lead our Operating Room's Cardiovascular service line at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis! In this role, you will embrace a flexible schedule with 2–10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) and 2–8-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) — all Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.

Your Impact:
As the RN Specialty Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating care for high-acuity patients. Your responsibilities will encompass performing extensive assessments, utilizing your clinical judgment, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to craft and execute tailored care plans. You will be a vital resource for your colleagues, guiding them with your clinical expertise and strong leadership skills within the unit and system.
Key responsibilities include:
Scrubbing or circulating during procedures as needed. Developing and implementing a core curriculum for staff training in collaboration with the clinical educator. Overseeing the orientation of new team members and ensuring ongoing education and evaluations for all staff. Serving as a role model and leader while aligning all activities with Riley's Mission and Vision.Qualifications:
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN). Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
