Manages daily staffing for assigned clinic operations including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Patient Services Representatives, and Polysomnographic Technicians.24 hour staffing on site and the ability to effectively manage complex schedules is essential.Ability to lead a team consisting of licensed and unlicensed staff, ability to work efficiently in a changing environment and assist in maintaining accreditation status for the Sleep Department.Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff, including managing daily staffing plans. Responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency. Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care. Management and development of clinical staff. Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s). Participates in budget planning and management. Takes proactive initiative in quality management.The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Associates degree plus two years applicable clinical experience.Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.Graduate of an accredited program.Required Certification/Registration:
Maintains current California RN license.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting and all competencies/certifications required for the highest level RN under their direction.Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
BSN and/or certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.5 years RN experience.2 years of leadership experience.Epic experience.Clinic/outpatient experience.Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
