RN Supervisor (15-20 hrs/wk) – Home Care

JOB OVERVIEW:

CareGivers is looking for a part time RN Supervisor  to join our growing team!  You’ll be based out of our Watertown NY office, but you’ll also travel within our service area to do med setups, conduct field staff supervisions/on the job training, and perform client assessments.  This position offers variety!  Our service area primarily consists of Jefferson County, however we do have some clients in Lewis County.

The part time hours & flexibility are perfect for RNs looking to work around family schedules, or for RNs that have retired from their full time jobs but are not ready to hang up their stethoscopes just yet! Home care experience preferred, but not required.

Job Location: Watertown NY and surrounding areas
Status: Part Time.  Guaranteed a minimum of 15 hrs/week but some weeks could be 20 or even 25 hours. Primarily weekday daytime hours. Flexible scheduling based on client/field employee schedules.

Rate: $32.00 – $34.00 / hour, depending on home care experience

Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license are a must for this position.

DUTIES:  Responsible for ensuring that home care clients served by CareGivers receive the highest quality care by ongoing assessment of the client, supervising the implementation of the physician’s plan of treatment, developing a plan of care and evaluating client needs and employee performance.   View job description »

Additional duties may include med setups for clients, and performing insurance assessments.

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State, with at least one year experience as a professional nurse (recent experience preferred). Six months of supervisory experience or one year of experience in home care is preferred, but not required. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required. Knowledge of home health regulations is preferred. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule. Must meet health requirements. Must have reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
