Responsibilities
Supervise daily clinical operations of the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) and preoperative area in accordance with established Federal, State, and AAAHC regulations and Center policies and procedures. Responsible for clinical and nursing activities such as staffing, ensuring Policy and Procedures followed, educational activities in the preoperative / PACU area, ensuring staff follows Quality Improvement Program, Infection Control and Safety plans. Ensures proper use of equipment, supplies and controlled drugs, and accurate medical record documentation

Education
Required: RN program
Preferred: BSN preferred
Experience
Required: 3 years working as a Perioperative RN in Ambulatory Surgery Center,
3- 5 yrs. as RN
Preferred: Charge Nurse/RN Coordinator experience
License(s)
Required: RN, CPR, ACLS,
Preferred: Specialty Certification ,i.e. CAPA/CPAN
