RN SUPERVISOR for SKILLED NURSING

Our skilled nursing RN Supervisors oversee staff performance on a daily basis, including LPN Team Leaders and CNA's, acting as a resource to provide constructive criticism and corrective action as needed. Work alongside another RN Supervisor, to provide the most dedicated leadership and care that maintains Weinberg Campus's standards.

DEPARTMENT: Long Term Care / Subacute Rehab

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Possess excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, observational skills, self-motivation and the ability to delegate responsibilitiesDiscipline staff as required in conjunction with the floor leaderMonitor all residents' incidents and determine a plan for corrective action and prevention for recurrenceConduct unit/residents rounds on a frequent basis and identifies problematic issuesCommunicate with the medical staff any medical concerns or changes in resident conditions; obtain new orders as neededIf necessary, participate in the Admissions process and provide assistance with resident care

ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL RN SUPERVISORS:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New YorkGood organizational and communication skillsRespect for the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of all residents1-year experience in nursing preferred but not requiredExperience in long term care and/or acute care is helpful but not necessary
