RN SUPERVISOR – Community Hospice - Saratoga/Washington/Montgomery

Work days are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. On-call rotation for evening and weekend every 6 weeks.

What you will do:

The Community Hospice has a rewarding opportunity for an RN Supervisor to lead our RN Care Managers, LPNs and Home Health Aides who are caring for Hospice patients/families at home in Saratoga. Washington and Montgomery county.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate closely with the team's RN Clinical Lead, other RN Supervisors, the hospice interdisciplinary team, and Directors to ensure high quality end of life care to patients and families. Support and develop our nursing team.    This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams include medical directors with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers!). 

What you will need:

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

BSN preferred but not required.

Prior Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years Hospice, acute care, or homecare RN experience required. Prior Hospice experience strongly preferred

Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment

Pay Range: $38.75-$53.40 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
