JoinScripps GreenHospital Surgery Team, including transplant and cardiac robotics, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for theposition will have 1or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho, General, Urology, Vascular and Spine. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care.

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating) or successful completion of Scripps' peri-operative training program or an approved external peri-operative training program

California Registered Nurse License

Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification

Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years surgery experience preferred

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Bachelor's degree in nursing
