As an RN in Surgical Acute, you'll gain exposure to general surgical patients including bariatric, ortho, spinal, urology, medical, telemetry, and trauma. Continuous and manual bladder irrigation, suprapubic urinary catheters, nephrostomy drains, wound V.A.C. therapy, orthopedic braces, and Patient-Controlled Analgesia infusions.

This is a high-functioning unit that boasts exceptionally high employee engagement andpatients’ satisfaction scores.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met​:

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)​Must remain in original department/specialty​Must remain in original Job Title​Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

·At least one year RN experience

·Graduate from an accredited school for nursing

·Current CA State RN license

·American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

·At least one year ofacute Med/Surg RN experience.

·At least one year of Acute Long Term Care experience.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

·Bariatric Certification preferred

Required Qualifications:

·At least one year RN experience

·Graduate from an accredited school for nursing
