Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing continuity of patient care by making assistance available where the need arises in the hospital.  The SWAT nurse may also be a resource when given a patient care assignment.  Assigned areas may include ICU, PCU, all clinical departments and nursing administration.


Qualifications

Education/Work Experience

Requires minimum of one year of RN critical care and/or emergency department work experience (within past 4 years).  Completion of a critical care residency (or completion within first twelve months after hire in the position) is also required.

License/Certification

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.Current Healthcare BLS Certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.PICC Line certification preferred.
