Summary

JOB SUMMARY

The RN Team Leader reports to the Clinical Manager. The Team Leader must possess thorough knowledge of care and is responsible to stay abreast of current trends and standards. The Team Leader is a resource and educator to the staff. The Team Leader's conduct should reflect both Carroll Hospital's mission statement and SPIRIT values. Under general supervision, the Team Leader should provide administrative support and ensure nursing practice, performance management and education related competencies for assigned area, in collaboration with the clinical mentor, manager and TLC. The Team Leader facilities multidisciplinary care for patients to ensure the highest quality care and services to patients and their families. The Team Leader provides direct patient care as needed, utilizes evidence based practice, and promotes teamwork.

REQUIREMENTS Required Associate's Degree Completion of coursework of accredited nursing school. Preferred Bachelor's Degree 4-7 years Minimum of 5 years as an RN with at least 2 years in Behavioral Health. Required CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider RN - Registered Nurse PNC - Psychiatric Nurse Certification
