Completion will be based on 100% validation of competencies during your clinical hours. Our target candidates are nurses who have graduated within one year prior to the start of the program and who have not previously worked as a registered nurse or interim permittee. Application period is open ​J​anuary 15-22 (7 days _ONLY_ ). **Applications must be received by the deadline** **​-** **no exceptions** .​ Applications may be turned off prior to end date when 100 qualified applications have been received. **Departments Participating:** Medical / Surgical Telemetry *Department and Shift to be selected upon completion of interview. **Overview:** The New Graduate Residency Program features a challenging program blending classroom didactics with clinical experience and unit socialization. This program is for recent graduates of RN programs who have graduated within one year prior to the start of the program.​ **YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA RN LICENSE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. The postings may be removed early after 100 applications have been received. + Interviews will be held in person January ​2​2 and ​23, 2025 + The first day of Orientation is March ​11, 2025 **Qualifications** ​ + ​Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing within the past 12 months from start of program. + 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience. + An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state they will be practicing (interim permits cannot be accepted) at the time of ​​application + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required prior to the start of program. + Additional Certifications to be required based on department selection.
