Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in Therapeutic/Cellular Apheresis, you will be responsible for performing therapeutic and cellular apheresis procedures for both adult and pediatric patients in a mobile setting. Your role will require travel within NY, NJ, and CT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform therapeutic and cellular apheresis procedures independently, including patient assessment, consent, and documentation.
• Provide patient care, follow-up instructions, and report abnormal findings.
• Administer blood products and medications per physician orders, including medication calculations and reconstitution.
• Operate and troubleshoot apheresis equipment and document findings accurately.
• Maintain inventory and assist with on-site supply levels.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

New Graduate Registered Nurses
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Prior LPN experience or clinical setting experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.


Experienced Registered Nurses
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 3+ years of clinical experience in medical/surgical, emergency, or telemetry OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1+ year of clinical experience in medical/surgical, emergency, or telemetry.
• Active RN licensure in at least one of the following states (NY, NJ, or CT) upon hire.
• Licensure in all three states (NY, NJ, CT) required within one year, unless an exception is granted at the department’s discretion.

 

Additional Requirements:


✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ BCLS Certification
✔ Ability to work on-call shifts


For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hourly salary is $45.00/hr. to $60.00/hr. For positions outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
