Position Summary:
The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self the nursing process and other health care team members. The incumbent as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management.

Qualifications
The ICU nursing training program for current nurses is designed for those with at least 1 year of experience in Tele IMCU, Neuro Tele or PCU. This cohort is tailored for night shift RNs and will have late afternoon, evening and night training sessions.

Must also meet the below qualifications:
Have completed a basic Dysrhythmia classHave current BLS and ACLS certificationsWilling to complete, within 6 months of transfer, an instructor lead OR online critical care course (Essentials of Critical Care Orientation aka ECCO). Can commit to having PALS prior to transfer date.
