Looking for a RN who believes in the power of #humankindess. RNs with CHI St. Alexius function as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. This individual will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. **What you’ll do:** + Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities as well as the following duties and responsibilities. + Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs in facilitation proper patient placement and patient care assignments. + Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using and promoting effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs. + Actively role models and coaches the behaviors associated with leadership and assist others in developing their skills and knowledge. + Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competencies for age specific, as appropriate. **Skills** : + Demonstrates ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others for the overall benefit of the unit. + Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care. + Demonstrates proficiency in unit and the ability to function efficiently during crisis + Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required. **Work Agreement:** + FTE Status - PRN - 0.01 + Shift Type - Rotating (Day, Mid shift, Nights) + Shift Length- 12 Hrs + On Call Expectations - None + Weekend/Holiday Frequency: None **Qualifications** We invite you to join CHI St. Alexius today and experience nursing with us! **Required Education:** Graduate of an RN nursing program **Required Licensure and Certifications** + Active RN licensure in the state of North Dakota, or compact nursing licensure + Basic life support if required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association. + Certification in Vascular Access (VA-BC) required within 2 years of hire. **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + **Must have 3 years experience in acute care required.** + Knowledge of current nursing practice, in particular, vascular access, critical thinking skills, professional verbal and written communication skills, technical/computer skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, adaptability, maintain confidentiality. **PREFERRED Qualifications:** BSN preferred.
