Westport Rehab & Nursing Center is looking for a full time RN Wound Care Nurse.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducting wound assessment, formulation of treatment plan, and recommendation of appropriate wound dressings Provides patient, family and staff education regarding prevention of pressure ulcers and therapeutic support services. Collaborates with clinical staff, physicians and other members of the treatment team to provide the patient with the highest quality and most appropriate wound care. Certified Wound Care Nurse and Certified Ostomy Care Nurse-  If you are not yet certified, you must be willing to be certified within 3 months. :) Perform additional duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Must be licensed to practice as an RN. Knowledge of principals of infection control.
