Your Role Our Road Logistics Controller will look to mitigate any current/future business unit risks while establishing and following through on procedures designed to maximize current and future growth. Your Responsibilities Coordinate and provide support regarding QTR Rolling Forecast to all levels of organizational hierarchyIdentify and follow up on profitability improvement possibilities through the analysis of multiple existing tools/systems or via developing new ones with the goal to increase overall awareness and come to a resolutionAnalyze operational and administrative processes and suggest and document process changes together with operational management in case of inefficiencyAlign processes throughout the organization (Business/Functional Units) and increase effectiveness and efficiency Constantly be on the lookout for potential risks like margin deterioration, over staffing, etc.Understand the operational or day to day part of the respective Business or Functional Unit work flow enough to be able to challenge/assist operational departments and various levels of management Assist any and all levels of management with any and all queries regarding business health and trends, including billing, GP, volume, etc.Work closely with the FSL team to determine and better understand the “root cause” of issues including GP ageing, accrual accuracy, deferrals, etc within the FSL and apply added pressure/support as requiredDevelopment of new KPIs, ad-hoc reports, and new analysis as required Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (financial preferred)3+ years working experience in Financial Controlling functions5+ years experience in a senior financial positionOperational and business “know-how” of Road Logistics Business/Functional Unit is highly preferredShould have very strong operational knowledge related to MS Office (Excel, Excess, Word, PowerPoint), Business Objects, Tableau, and finance systemsHigh standards of confidentiality to handle sensitive informationComfortable with moderate national and international travel(i.e. Mexico/Canada, other US Areas) Good Reasons to Join At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. The target salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $165,000 total compensation. Compensation is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
