Find out more at www.TransdevNA.com or watch an overview video at https://youtu.be/ilO5cv0G4mQ    JOB RESPONSIBILITES: • Communicates job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.• Takes responsibility for day-to-day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports to localmanagement.• Conducts on-the-scene accident investigation; assists drivers in preparing accident reports,OSHA reports and safety violations documents.• Designs and delivers driver training and safety courses; trains new drivers and retrains thoseinvolved in accidents.• Liaisons between drivers and both clients and organization in customer service issues.• Evaluates and monitors driver safety and performance, as well as compliance in legal,employment and labor policy matters.• Assists Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping.Direct personnel performing scheduling and dispatching activities.Monitor employees assigned for proper telephone etiquette.Advises on Federal Transportation Administration's Rules and Regulations and keeps staff current on changes to ADA rules and regulations.Analyze scheduling and dispatching problems and develop solutions.Investigate and prepare responses to customer complaints.Assist in coordinating Public Relations activities.Conduct Employee Performance Evaluations.Assist in coordinating communication for the department throughout the Company.Communicate with clients relative to their concerns in regards to ParatransitSupervises all vehicle operators to ensure proper scheduling of runs and efficient staffing of every route.Provides leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.Performs all vehicle operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigates and responds to situations, helps resolve operational issues and assists with transit passengers as necessary.Perform all tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies including OHSA and DOT.Develop and deliver training to employees on OSHA, DOT, and company policies and procedures.Ensure all documentation, records and files related to safety training are submitted and maintained in accordance with federal, state and local requirements and Company policy.Assist in the new driver qualification process and the continued qualification of drivers to include drug/alcohol testing, annual reviews, physicals and all other required documentation.Respond and provide assistance in emergency situations.Provide leadership and a positive work atmosphere exhibiting professional conduct with open communication that promotes positive relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.Prepare and present reports as necessary• Assists in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.• Meets all driver qualifications at location.• Obtains a CDL required to operate vehicles at location, maintains that license, and drivesroute periodically.
