Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in forestry or a related fieldOR an equivalent combination of education and professional experience; a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferredStrong understanding of harvesting techniques, wood flow dynamics, marketing strategies, silvicultural objectives, and forest economicsProficiency in forestry Best Management Practices (BMPs), cruise design, sampling principles, and forest inventory systems; familiarity with GIS and Weyerhaeuser’s inventory systems is a plusDemonstrated ability to create, manage, and implement budgets effectivelyBasic knowledge of negotiation tactics and contract administrationStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and mobile applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and contribute to transformational initiativesProven leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering collaboration in a diverse team environmentExceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectivelyDedication to safety, including adherence to protocols and promoting Weyerhaeuser’s safety visionFlexibility and willingness to take on additional projects and assignments as neededCompensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $48,175 - $72,193 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
