Possible Compensation: The pay range for this role is based on several factors including education, experience, training, licensure and certifications, work location, specific job duties and other organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual and spot incentive program (based on individual and company performance).

As a Roadway Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include planning, roadway design, and construction support for municipal transportation projects.
Salary Range: $85,000 to $130,000
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work with multi-disciplinary technical teams (Consor and subconsultantsManage work programs, project schedules, and budgetsProvide excellent client serviceWrite technical memoranda, engineering reports, and planning studiesDevelop and deliver complete design and project bid packages Perform construction administrationAssist with business development and winning the next project (proposal and SOQ writing)#LI-EL1
Required Credentials Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)5+ years of transportation and roadway design experience Professional Engineer license (PE) Additional Preferred Qualifications Proven comprehensive plans, specifications, and estimate delivery experienceProject management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communicationsAbility to manage several subconsultants and internal staff on a multi-disciplinary team Client contacts and experience working in Northern CaliforniaDesign and construction management experience with capital infrastructure projectsExperience mentoring junior staffPrior consulting experience managing municipal (state, county, city) projectsProficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and preferably, Deltek Vision Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation Excellent written and verbal communications skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with multiple priorities Attention to detail, delivering quality work products and excellent client serviceCore values aligned with ours Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - you clearly convey subtleties in complex designs to your team, client, and stakeholders Demonstrated success working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects Motivation and the ability to work independently with multiple prioritiesOptions Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
