Job Title: Roadway Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Roadway Design Engineer with strong experience in aviation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing roadway projects within airport environments, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Design and Development: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create detailed roadway designs, including horizontal and vertical geometrics, plan and profile drawings, and cross-sections. - Project Management: Lead and coordinate roadway design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Collaborate with airport authorities, contractors, and regulatory bodies. - Utility Mapping and Relocation: Identify existing utility constraints (underground and overhead) and propose necessary relocations to support roadway development. -Civil and Landscape Support: Determine the extent of civil works, including widening, curb and gutter, sidewalk/path locations, drainage, bus stops, and ADA compliance. Support landscape planning by identifying utility service points and incorporating streetscape goals. - Event Coordination: Coordinate signage and infrastructure for major events such as the World Cup and Olympics. - Scoping and Estimation: Prepare scoping exhibits, narratives, quantity estimates, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for executive approvals.
