In the role of Roadway Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to:Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projectsTake responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimatesProvide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculationsPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldEIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Roadway Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK or other transportation design software packages, MS office experiencePreference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarityand demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software suchas Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk  Infraworks and Civil3d An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
