Job DescriptionProvide leadership and direction for Whole Foods Markets, Allegro Coffee Roasting facility. Responsible for ensuring that all quality, cost, safety, training, and operational standards are achieved in support of overall company goalsResponsibilities
+ Set performance standards, goals, and measurements to track efficiency against standards and developmental plans for Team Members.
+ Prepare the annual production budget based on sales projections and production requirements.
+ Ensure that all freshness and quality standards are never compromised.
+ Develop and maintain open, cooperative, and participatory communication throughout the entire organization.
+ Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs), are written, validated, followed, and maintained.
+ Oversee production flow through scheduling and evaluation.
+ Monitor green bean and roasted coffee inventory levels utilizing proper proactive communication to alleviate shortages or delays.
+ Work cooperatively with various internal departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory counts.
+ Monitor error tracking system (wrinkles) and address issues immediately.
+ Design and maintain an effective warehouse layout.
+ Participate in Product Implementation Team meetings and projects representing all concerns or issues from the roasting, packaging, and S/R areas.
+ Set standards and monitor compliance of all preventative maintenance programs.
+ Communicate all pertinent company-wide information to Team Members and encourages knowledge growth through interactive discussions as well as timely dissemination of information.
+ Know, enforce, and maintain compliance in step with OSHA, QAI, Steri-Tech, GMP, Colorado Air Emissions Standards and FDA.
+ Provides appropriate direction and leadership for multiple work groups in several different areas. Ensures a high level of TM happiness is maintained.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
+ Must have developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear objectives offering support for completion through subordinates
+ Must possess competent computer skills, report analyzing, production scheduling, inventory control, and project management
+ Must have previous experience in goal setting and budget developing
+ Individual must possess a strong commitment to continuous improvement utilizing an appropriate hands-on, cooperative approach to team work
Desired Work Experiences
+ Associates or technical degree preferred
+ Progressive warehouse/roasting/leadership (7 years)
The wage range for this position is $65,000.00 - $117,000.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits".
