Job Title: Robot Operator
Job Description

The Digital Automation Systems Operator works within designated Service Advantage Partner locations as the on-site Systems Operator. This role involves operating and supporting a variety of Partner sold equipment at customer locations, generally within a specific geographic area. The Digital Automation Systems Operator will have the ability to operate Modular Control Systems, Partner Structure, and Client systems, and manage priorities and performance of automation systems in all daily activities. The main goal is to maximize automation systems' operational output, efficiency, and provide expert support for client automation, robotic, workstation, and technology systems.

ResponsibilitiesOperate automated systems, software-based control systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and structures.Provide hands-on support with an electro-mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Linux and command line to support client systems and products.Engage in direct communications and interactions with client vendor partners.Support client's key performance indicators to achieve maximum system uptime and overall client satisfaction.Perform system software updates as per recommended client technical instructions.Troubleshoot and operate client systems and remediate issues to ensure high-level system performance.Collect and analyze data, apply a systematic approach to reach conclusions, and make appropriate decisions.Perform a full range of support services including diagnostics, installation, mapping, induction, removal, configuration testing, and commissioning of client's automation system.Demonstrate required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignments.Complete technical training on client systems as assigned.Review all technical information pertaining to supported systems and products.Act as a positive influence and champion within the team and organization.Proactively seek ways for process and operational excellence.Essential SkillsMachine operatingRoboticsTroubleshootingRobotMachine setupMachine operationAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree or 4 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience or training in the Robotics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical fields.Experience and proficiency in automated systems and software-based controls.Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.Serve as a role model and always exhibit professional appearance and behavior.Work Environment

Dress Code: Casual, jeans are fine. This is a production environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4pm. Timekeeping is done through VMS. Please reach out to AM for instructions on entering timecards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
