Robotics Engineering Technician
MAU is hiring a Robotics Engineer for EPICA International in Landrum, SC. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing robotic systems at customer sites. You will provide exceptional technical support, ensuring that our robotic solutions operate at peak efficiency and contribute to the overall productivity and success of our customers. Benefits Package Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses Opportunities for training and professional development Travel expenses covered Company vehicle (if applicable) 401k Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid time off Required Education and Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience 3+ years of experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial robotic systems Proficiency in industrial automation, robotics programming, and control systems (e.g., PLC, HMI) General Requirements In-depth knowledge of robotics, servo motors, and automation systems Proficiency in programming and debugging robotic systems Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with effective time management Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail Valid driver’s license Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment Essential Functions Install and commission robotic systems, including electrical and mechanical setup Perform calibration and testing to ensure optimal system performance Train end-users on proper system operation and maintenance Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and electrical issues in robotic systems Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation Perform timely repairs and component replacements as needed Provide both on-site and remote technical support to address customer concerns Document all service activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex issues and drive system improvements Maintain a high level of professionalism to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction Serve as a liaison between customers and the company, ensuring clear and effective communication Offer technical expertise and recommendations to enhance customer operations Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards Stay current with advancements in robotics systems and industry trends Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and in proper working condition Travel Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites (up to 75% travel) #PS
