They are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Field Engineer to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot our robotic automation systems in warehouse environments. This role involves working directly with customers to ensure seamless system integration, performing on-site diagnostics, and collaborating with internal engineering teams to enhance system performance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with robotics, automation, and mechatronics, along with strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and configure robotic automation systems at customer sites.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic hardware and software to ensure peak performance.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize robotic workflows and resolve technical challenges.
Conduct system diagnostics, firmware updates, and calibration procedures.
Train customer personnel on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
Document field activities, report system performance, and provide feedback to engineering teams for product improvements.
Work with software engineers to debug and test software updates in real-world deployments.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards while operating in warehouse environments.
Travel to customer sites as required for deployments, maintenance, and support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in field engineering, robotics, automation, or a related technical role.
Strong hands-on experience with robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation equipment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting robotic hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System), Python, or C++ is a plus.
Experience with PLCs, motion control systems, and industrial networking protocols is beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
Willingness to travel frequently and work in dynamic warehouse environments.
