What you will do
The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site installation, maintenance, upgrades and repair of complex medical equipment and systems (Mako Robot). Will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, providing both verbal and on-site customer support.
Responsabilities
Serve as the primary liaison with customers on both administrative and technical matters.
Ensure expertise in the repair, maintenance, operation, and clinical use of Stryker systems (Mako Robot) and related instrumentation, with deep knowledge of the surgical orthopedic industry.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge, working under minimal supervision on complex projects and supporting less experienced peers on service calls and training.
Use independent judgment to address complex issues and perform under general practices and policies to obtain solutions.
Provide pre-sales technical support as needed, including assisting the sales team with customer demos.
Gather and relay customer feedback (Voice of Customer - VOC) to technical design and engineering teams.
Achieve high performance to meet and exceed financial and performance goals by ensuring customer satisfaction, facilitating renewals of Service Agreements.
Support Stryker’s growth by collaborating with the Commercial team to identify potential sales leads and communicate regularly on customer satisfaction.
Manage field inventory, tools, documentation, and other assigned equipment with accuracy and control.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, engineering updates, and prepare complete field service documentation, including reports and checklists, in a timely manner.
What you need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
+3 years as a field service engineer.
English and Spanish required.
Strong electronic, robotics and mechanical skills are required.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and office applications required.
Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers are necessary.
75% travel required; including international travel.
Based in Mexico City.
Travel Percentage: 70%
