We are looking for a Robot Programmer to assist in building a cell that transfers seats from an industrial elevator to the assembly line at GM Arlington. The build will be onsite in Flint, MI through November/December. The candidate will then support installation and production at the GM plant in Arlington, TX from December to February/March, with travel home every other week.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Flint, Michigan.

Work Environment

There are 30 people in the Robot & PLC Group, split between PLC/Controls and Robot specialists. The candidate will work mainly in the shop area where cells are built, and onsite at GM plants for installation and production support. Work hours are typically 45-50 hours a week, closer to 40 when onsite. Travel post-Arlington is approximately 25%, primarily to GM plants in Brownstown, Flint, Wentzville, Arlington, and Lake Orion.
