Job Title: Robotics ProgrammerJob Description
We are looking for a Robotics Programmer to assist with the installation of seat load cells at a major automotive plant in Arlington, TX. The role will initially involve acclimation on the first shift for about a week, followed by work on the second shift for the installation and production support from late December through February. Post-project, there are opportunities for future projects and potential for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
+ Program, troubleshoot, and debug robotic cells for seat load cell material handling equipment.
+ Set up safety functions, load programs, and ensure proper operation using Dual Check Safety (DCS).
+ Utilize teach pendants to program FANUC robots.
+ Calibrate and ensure proper function of FANUC cameras (vision systems).
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in FANUC robot programming.
+ 3+ years of experience with Dual Check Safety (DCS).
+ 3+ years of installation support experience for material handling systems and vision systems.
+ Proficiency in debugging, programming, and troubleshooting FANUC robots.
+ Experience with setting up robots and loading programs.
+ Previous experience in providing onsite installation and production support at customer locations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GRS certification in FANUC robot programming.
+ Experience with 3DV vision systems.
Work Environment
The candidate will work in a shop environment where robotic cells are built and also onsite at various automotive plants for installation and production support. The role requires flexibility in working hours, ranging from 45-50 hours per week, with potential travel up to 25% post-Arlington project. Travel locations include GM plants in Brownstown, MI, Flint, MI, Wentzville, MO, Arlington, TX, and Lake Orion, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00
