About the RoleThis role involves designing, developing, and operating robotic systems to enable the next generation of manufacturing automation. You’ll collaborate with engineers to implement the latest robotics methods across various industry platforms and integrate advanced tooling and sensors to optimize real-time process control. The position requires autonomy, ownership, and a strong desire to learn.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesOperate robots using developed software and enable team members to interface efficiently for testing and feature implementation.
Implement real-time trajectory planning and control for robotic end-effectors.
Lead software development efforts, taking charge of the full development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define project requirements and constraints, translating them into functional systems.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to enhance system performance.
Job RequirementsSeniority:
2+ years of experience in software engineering within a robotics environment
Work Experience:
Expertise in robotic software, including Controls, Motion Planning, Simulation, and Sensor Integration
Experience with industrial robots (e.g., Kuka, Fanuc)
Knowledge of Machine Learning methods and their application in robotics
Startup experience is a plus
Education:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering
PhD in a relevant field is preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in C++, Python, and Rust
Understanding of robot kinematics and dynamics
A genuine passion for robotics and innovative technologies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
