Job OverviewThe internship will be based in our Warrendale, PA office for the summer of 2025. During the internship you will be part of the team responsible for developing core Robotics Automation & Autonomy software for underground mining applications.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Robotics Software Intern, you will specialize and contribute to the development of core Autonomy software stack for products that operate globally. You will get exposure to developing software for underground machines such as continuous miners, long wall etc.
Key skills that you will further enhance during your internship with us are (i) perception, mapping and localization techniques in a GPS denied environment, (ii) working with robotic sensors such as lidars, radars and cameras (iii) analysis of real-world data to tune software/algorithms.
Qualifications/Requirements· Currently pursuing Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
· Currently pursuing Master of Science degree in Robotics Systems Development, Robotics, Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
· Proven strengths in robotics systems and software development
· Strong programming skills in C++ and C
