Amazon Robotics automates fulfillment center operations using various methods of robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands. Amazon Robotics has a dedicated focus on research and development to continuously explore new opportunities to extend its product lines into new areas. Amazon Robotics internship/co-op/full-time opportunities will be based out of the Greater Boston Area. This role is for students currently enrolled in college/university and must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) 6-month co-op between or July to December 2025 A day in the life If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you! Basic Qualifications - Are enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in Canada - Are 18 years of age or older - Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum - Can relocate to where the internship is based Preferred Qualifications - Are enrolled in or have completed a Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate - Experience programming or scripting language like Python, Java, C or C+- Experience with open-source technologies like Linux, Spring or React - Experience with distributed computing, programs and systems - Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
