Robotics Technician
Job Description Candidates will be performing repairs and upgrades on robots returning from the field. They should have a strong electro-mechanical aptitude and will be expected to perform electrical wiring and mechanical work on the bots. The role involves upgrading and troubleshooting robots to diagnose if parts and repairs are working properly. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged equipment and bots. + Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting. + Assist in the development and/or selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures. + Assist with the development of test procedures. + Maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area. + Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting. + Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Strong troubleshooting skills with robots and electrical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 4 or more years of mechanical assembly. + Technician experience in mechanical and electrical fields. + Automotive knowledge is a plus. + Self-motivated and highly organized. + Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time. + Understanding of various types of mechanical and/or electrical test equipment. + Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints. + Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation. **Why Work Here?** Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
