We are looking for a candidate eager to learn and innovate as we tell the story of the Rock Family of Companies. As a Communications Intern, you’ll work as part of our communications team. You’ll help source stories for owned and earned media as well as support efforts to increase awareness of the Family of Companies in local and national press. **About the Role** + Create and edit engaging content for websites and social media. + Assist in media relations, interview preparation and track relevant news clips. + Schedule social media posts and track metrics and engagement. + Generate and review written deliverables such as blogs, website copy and reports. + Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings. + Share creative ideas that will help improve our business. + Deliver reports, analyze metrics and summarize information to help drive our team forward. + Assist in creating materials and/or presentations for meetings. + Take notes during meetings and provide recaps. **About You** + Attention to detail. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Experience in storytelling, content creation, editing and social media. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office. **What You’ll Get** Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
