**Job Title: Roll Clamp Operator**
**Job Description**
The Roll Clamp Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll clamp equipment to handle, transport, and store large rolls of products. This role includes receiving and staging products, packaging, and counting inventory monthly, as well as creating work orders daily.
**Responsibilities**
+ Safely operate roll clamp machinery to move, load, and unload large rolls of products.
+ Receive incoming products and stage them in designated areas for further processing or storage.
+ Package products according to company standards and prepare them for shipment.
+ Conduct monthly inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock levels.
+ Spend approximately one hour each day creating and processing work orders to ensure smooth workflow.
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling practices.
+ Inspect rolls for any damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
+ Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all materials are stored safely.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience operating roll clamp machinery.
+ Ability to inspect products for damage or defects.
+ Experience with stacking products.
+ Proficiency in using a computer to enter work orders.
+ Experience in counting inventory (boxes/pallets) monthly.
+ Cycle counting and forklift operation skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Inventory experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a clean room/manufacturing environment. The team is currently overworked and experiencing stress, but they are eager to welcome new members and support their success. The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, T-shirts, and long pants. Day shifts are available with flexible hours (6am-3:30pm, 7:00am-4:00pm, or 8:00am-5:00pm).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, South Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
