**Waste Control** **, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a** **Class A Roll Off/Drop Box Driver** **to join the team in Longview, Washington. Previous waste experience would be a huge** **_plus_** **!** **The schedule for this position will be:** **Shift A** **- 4 days 0n, 3 days 0ff, 3 days on, 4 days off; repeat. (Thursday through sat off one week, Wednesday through sat second week, repeat.** **_OR_** **Shift B** **– 4 days 0n, 3 days 0ff, 3 days on, 4 days off; repeat. (Sunday through Wednesday off one week, Sunday through Tues second week, repeat** **The rate of pay is $26.87/HR. We are also offering a $2,000 Stay-on Bonus!** **What We Offer:** **Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits.** **401K Plan, $1 for $1 match up to 5%** **Paid Time Off** **$2,000 Stay On Bonus!** **$250 Yearly Boot Allowance** **$$ Yearly Safety Bonus $$** **Duties and Responsibilities:** **In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to Deliver and Pickup up Drop Boxes.** **Must be able to drive manual transmission.** **Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.** **Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.** **Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.** **Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.** **Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.** **Working Conditions and Physical Effort:** **Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.** **Operating Truck to Deliver Roll Off Box and Pick up Roll Off Boxes.** **The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions.** **The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.** **Minimum Job Requirements:** **Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
