Hiring Full-Time Mechanics with Diesel Experience



Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled General Mechanic to join our team. The role involves maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing routine maintenance. A 12-week training program for the rolling stock position is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues.Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals.Repair/replace defective parts in engines, transmissions, etc.Maintain detailed maintenance records.Communicate with equipment operators.Ensure a clean and safe work environment.Assist with new equipment installation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a General Mechanic or similar role.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification preferred.Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment:

Flexibility for shift rotation, weekends, and holidays.Shift schedules: 1st shift (3am – 11:30pm), 2nd shift (11pm-7:30am), 3rd shift (7pm-3:30am).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57845.00 - $57854.00
