Lobby Attendant will be responsible for assisting the housekeepers as well as banquet personnel with their everyday operational materials, amenities, and mini bar items to ensure exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance to the Autograph Collection standards under the franchise of Mainsail Lodging & Development.

What you will do:
Strip the rooms in preparation for cleaningAcknowledge guest in all public spaces with a warm and friendly greetingDistribute the necessary items to the assigned housekeepersAssist with banquet function of the hotel to include set up of tables and chairsTake care of any guests special requests for pre-arrival e.g. foam pillows, extra towelsMaintain all hallways to ensure they are free from dust and/or scuffs, window sills, door frames and base boardsSweep and/or vacuum hallways on a daily basisClean inside the elevators and polish elevator tracks and landingsMaintain closets in order and keep par levels to standardAssist with the maintenance of the mini bar selections to par levelsKeep stairwells and ice machine areas free from debrisFollow scheduled shifts and follow break and lunch requirementsDeep clean on rotational scheduleAssist Director of Rooms Operations with VIP arrivalsAssist in the restocking and reorganizing the housekeepers’ carts dailyReport any light outages, broken equipment, or room disparities to manager paying close attention to hallway areasAssist guest with any specials requestsAbility to communicate with manager on inventory needs e.g. amenities, pillow cases, bed linen, robes, etc.Professional communication while using technologyRespect all guests, team members, and management by maintaining a positive, friendly attitudeAbility to interact with guests and share hotel knowledge using personalization, such as using the guest nameMaintain guest confidentiality following all hotel proceduresReport any suspicious activity or unusual items in roomReport any irregular behavior from guests in public areas and/or in roomsAbility to take initiative and handle assignments with limited supervisionFollow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbookMaintain cleanliness and order of work area such as closets, carts, and housekeeping officeOther duties as assignedHotel Performance

Education & Experience
