Located on South Michigan Avenue and overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan, this hotel offers 1,544 guest rooms and suites, 234,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and exceptional dining options.

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Shift Pattern:  Must be able to work from 3:30pm to 12am(midnight), along with weekends and Holidays.

Pay Rate:

\n

The hourly rate upon hire is $19.43. After completion of 90 days of employment, the rate will increase to $23.02. After completion of 1 year of employment, the rate will increase to $25.90 or the applicable union rate at the time.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nClean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming\nChange and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed\nPerform deep cleaning tasks, as needed\nStock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis\nDispose of trash and recyclables\nRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nPerform guest turn down service, as needed\n
