The all-new Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Housekeeping Attendants! As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Job Requirements: + Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner + Maintains brand and company standards for cleanliness in hotel guest areas + Clean guest rooms; removal and stocking of linen, dust and sanitizes all areas of the guest room + Makes bed, vacuums carpets, and cleans tile areas in guest rooms + Reports maintenance deficiencies to maintain compliance with brand standards + Uses chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment properly + Ensures cleanliness of public areas of the hotel Additional Requirements: + Good reading, writing, and oral skills + A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel services environment preferred + Friendly and dynamic individual and loves working with people + Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork + Ability to multi-task Standards: + Able to work alone without direct supervision + Demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination + Constantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operation + Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times + Attend all required meetings + Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures + Properly handle and report associate and guest accidents + Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards + Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management + Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel + Weekdays, weekends, and holidays required Physical Demand: + Continuous standing and moving during shift + Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 30 lbs + Bending/kneeling required Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort is an equal-opportunity employer.
