About the setting:

This is a amazing supportive and organised setting our looking for room leaders in the baby room as well as toddler room. They catering for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. We want the children to flourish in an enjoyable and learning environment, whilst giving parents reassuring confidence that their child's carers are devoted to quality teaching. With a Good across the board for Ofsted!

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum


What you'll be doing
• Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
• Observing, tracking, and reflecting on learning
• Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment on a day-to-day basis

What we're looking for
• Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• 1 - 2 years' experience as a nursery nurse or room leader
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
