Job DescriptionTo properly take all guests’ Room Service orders, communicate them to other servers and work to expedite their service. To properly perform all control and revenue related paperwork.
Responsibilities Must follow all MOS or Forbes standardsResponsible for answering the phone within three ringsTake orders for guests and using last names at least three times during interactionKnowledge on ways to upsell/suggestive sellInform the guest about specials in restaurantGive the approximate time of delivery for the orderPrepare payment of checksKnowledge of food menu and wine list and daily specialsKnow and adhere to al liability lawsPrint and distribute hotel reports Charge all amenities and coffee orders according to SOPComplete other duties assignedAttend all designated staff meetings and training sessionsAssist server with set up and breakdown of trays when availableCommunicate amenity issues to manager/concierge when necessary Qualifications Previous food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotel is preferredRoom Service experience is preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysTABC and Food Handler certifications are requiredCash handling experience preferredOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
