Room Service Delivery Attendant

Live! by Loews – St. Louis, MO is a branded collaboration between Loews Hotels & Co, The Cordish Companies and the St. Louis Cardinals, one of the most beloved sports franchises in the country. The hotel is part of phase two of the already successful Ballpark Village Live! complex and delivers unscripted, locally handcrafted Loews experiences for both group and leisure guests. Live! by Loews – St. Louis features 216 guestrooms, 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space with spectacular views and multiple food & beverage outlets, including an outdoor lounge and a Bourbon Bar.

Job Specific

Room Service:

Prepares silver, room service trays, coffee etc. at start of and throughout shift, as requiredPresets trays and carts as required throughout shift.  Prepares each tray for specific order requirementsChecks all Room Service Orders for accuracy and completeness prior to departing kitchenDelivers Room Service Orders to guestroom in a timely mannerSets up and serves order in guest room, according to guest preference and Loews Hotels Standards, in a polite professional mannerObtains proper charge authorization or payment for orders deliveredCompletes all necessary paperwork accurately and legiblyPicks up soiled Room Service trays and carts from guestrooms and corridors as neededCleans and maintains Room Service area and equipmentDelivers amenities to guestrooms

Refreshment Pantry:

Inventories guest room Refreshment Pantries to determine consumption by guestPrepares Refreshment Pantry charge ticket and forwards to appropriate cashier for billing to guest accountReplenishes Refreshment Pantry items consumedInspect Refreshment Pantry contents and maintains freshness of productCleans and maintains refreshment pantry appearance to established standardsRemoves consumed amenity items and/or Room Service trays from guest roomsCompletes DND/No Service, inventory and in-house guest list paperwork and reportsCommunicates discrepancies regarding Refreshment Pantry usage to CaptainRestocks and rotates Refreshment Pantry attendant cart supplies

Guest Valet:

Retrieves orders for processing of guest valet from guest rooms according to hotel policyVerifies accuracy and completeness of information on valet ticket received from guestCompletes necessary log entries to record receipt of guest valet orderSorts, separates and tags guest valet articles for processing by laundry/dry cleanerOrganizes cleaned and processed guest valet orders for return to guestInspects and verifies completeness of valet order being returned to guestReturns completed valet orders to guest room according to established hotel procedureCompletes required log entry to document return of guest valet order to roomFiles valet reports appropriately for documentation and review as necessary

General:

Completes required set up / preparation, at beginning of shiftInspects all equipment prior to and at end of shift, reports any needed repairs to supervisorInventories supplies at beginning of shift, obtains supplies necessary to support forecasted level of businessPerforms delivery, placement and any required set up of amenities and/or equipment requested by guestCompletes assigned closing duties at end of shiftOther duties as assigned

General

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalentOne plus years experience as Food Service /Room Service Attendant in quality food service/hotel operationThorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standardsExceptional guest service attitude and abilitiesAbility to lift and carry food service trays weighting 35+ poundsAbility to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
