Job Description To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service. Responsibilities Responsible to answer the phone within three rings.Take orders for guests.Must follow prepared scenario to encourage upselling.Give the approximate time of delivery for the order.Prepare payment of checks.Printing of reports at the end of the shift and banking out.Complete knowledge of service time, menu and specialsPrepare, deliver and serve orders using Moments of ServiceInquire if additional service is neededResponsible for each checkPick up trays and tablesResponsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of amenitiesMust consult with supervisor on any food pick up difficultyAttend all designated staff meetings and training sessionsComplete any tasks and side duties assigned by managerResponsible for maintenance and cleanliness of room service areasAid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to the destination if possible)Adhere to cash handling standardsFollow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assetsFollow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications Qualifications Must have previous food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotelRoom Service experience is preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysTABC and Food Handler certifications are requireCandidates must be able to speak fluent EnglishOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
