Overview Room Inspector is responsible for assigning and inspecting Room Attendant duties and tracking the quality of cleanliness for guest rooms, hallways and public spaces. The Room Inspector position is a managing and a hands-on position in which this person is responsible for overseeing a team of subordinates, but also conduct inventory and item tracking. As with all positions in the Facilities Department, this person will directly and indirectly assist guests and coworkers with Housekeeping or other requests, identifying and correcting problems. highest quality level through room inspections and training. Ensure all room inspections are complete and to accepted standards for guest occupancy prior to established guest check-in time and that completed rooms are recorded appropriately. Report all maintenance issues or malfunctions during the inspection process, as they are found. Assist with preparation and distribution of reports concerning inventories, room cleaning, service and work assignments in the department. Immediately and courteously responds to guests needs or requests related to housekeeping duties and problems as they arise. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous manner at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager or Facilities Director. May perform Room attendant duties as required. May perform Houseman duties as required. Use of ladders and lifts at various heights as required. Knowledge and use of computers and computer programs (WORD, EXCEL, etc.) including typing skill. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $18,720.00/Yr. - $44,200.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
